The CHEERS Lab
The CHEERS Lab is directed by Dr. Emily Junkin and is located at the University of Southern Mississippi
Our research focuses on alcohol and other substance use behaviors among emerging adult populations. Specifically, the lab is interested in early risk factors for alcohol use disorder, such as impaired control over alcohol use and how contextual and cognitive factors, like exposure to alcohol-related stimuli, influence drinking behavior.
